Hump day again so that means sharing our desks with "What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday" with the lovely Julia (full details here)
Finally got round to clearing my desk a bit (only so I could measure it to see if the new Tim Holtz glass cutting mat Shaz Silverwolf did a review of recently would fit-it will, just, so may think about getting one!)
On my desk is my urban sketching kit. In the small "hangover mints" tin is my watercolour kit (full details if you are interested are here), some posca pens (my favourite multisurface pen). In the black and white pouch are 3 ink pens and my sweat band (that I wear and use to wipe my brushes etc to stop me using my jeans etc)!
My "Man Bites Dog" cards this week are "Convict Drugs Blonde Beauty", once again, no comment, but these cards can come out quite sinister sometimes!

Hi Kyla, yes definitely sinister this week! Smiling at the sweatband- Doug wears one on his right wrist when gaming. He kept getting a really sore patch, where the skin would start to break. Started wearing this, and it healed and not come back. Realised the problem was a hinge on his keypad/mouse tray that he was constantly sliding his wrist over when moving the mouse!Laughing at clearing the desk to measure for a mat! Ooops! If you do go for one, have a good shop around, I found the prices vary a lot- from the £32 I paid, to as much as £45. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 XxX

ReplyDeleteThat's a great tip about using a sweat band to wipe brushes when out and about Kyla. If you can't stretch to the Tim Holtz mat then the original large Tonic one is a good second choice and half the price. Happy WOYWW Sarah #4
