WOYWW

Hump day again so that means "What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday" when across the globe we share our desks.  Some clean and tidy, some creative, some (see below) look like a darn good sort out is in order!

On a positive I have some Christmas papers out so that means I have finally started making my cards.  I don't tend to worry so long as I have about 20 (ideally) made by the end of January as that always feels like I have made a good dent in readiness.

Also out are my pens, journal and paints that I use when sketching on the go (see my previous update about the Bristol Urban Sketchers) as I am trying to sort them out as they have gotten into a bit of a mess whilst I was sorting out Christmas presents etc during the past couple of months and January tends to be my quiet month and chance to catch-up.

My "Man Bites Dog" cards this week are 'Girl Stabs Missing Tourist'-no comment!

Are you sharing your desk this week?  Full details on how to join this happy and friendly bunch can be found here, courtesy of our fabulous leader, Julia.

Happy crafting

  1. That is so organised to have that many Christmas cards by the end of January. I wish I could be that organised. I am sorting things out too, but aiming to get rid of anything that has not seen the light of day for a couple of years. xx Maggie #1 or #7

  3. I’ve a dozen ,ade Kyla for 2019, but would like you have 20 and then relax, plenty of Christmas challenge around to help too.
Wonder why the man eat dog cards each week? it is just something you do, or are others into it too? I’ve a set of cards but they’ve never been opened! 😊

  8. I envy people who get ahead with Christmas cards, but once I've got to the end of my list each year I don't feel like starting all over again till I'm running late for the next year... maybe this year will be different.... interesting MBD this week! Helen #5

  12. You just reminded me of yet another project I want to do this year - sketching! I started on it last year, and it fizzled out by about March. I would love to get into it again, but time is always the problem! Good for you for getting Christmas Cards done in January! Have a great week, Lindart #31
