Woyww

Morning, hope those in the UK are enjoying the sun? It's been lovely for the past week, including the bank holiday! Lots going on at the allotment and garden meaning my desk has been left empty! Well, apart from an empty page in my 365 journal in readiness to decorate ready for june (june already???! Well from tomorrow). I have gesso'd it so it's all prepped ready to decorate.

I did manage a trip down to the beach the other day and sat and sketched a couple of scenes in my travel sketchbook.

My 'man bites dog' cards this week are Nude Tourist Sues Hubby! Well, i will be watching the local news with interest!

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday

  1. It was nice to see sunshine for the bank holiday, although I am glad it wasn't too hot here! Well done on prepping the surface for your June page! Happy WOYWW Helen #2

  2. Funny how the cards almost seem to match the seaside theme of your sketch! Life's just like that sometimes... :D

  3. Absolutely adorable sketches, so special. yep it is warm here in Surrey too, I'm just about managing it and hoping it doesn't get much warmer really. No rain for ages though and none forecast either, oh dear! June here we come.... Hugs BJ#7

  4. Great sketches, I wish I had the confidence to do that. I know most people love the heat, but I tend to stay away from it! We passed a reservoir yesterday that was very low! Have a great week Angela #11

  5. Rain is drizzling down here, slow enough to sink in but not enough to save me watering . . . but it's trying!
Love your sketches, relaxing way to spend some time and they look so good.
    Enjoy the new month's journal

  6. Glad you’ve had a day out, being by the sea is unmatchable isn’t it. Your sketches are great, I knew the clock tower straight away! Really enjoyed the glorious weather, such a lovely start, long May it continue. Although it’s dull and damp here this morning, I’m not considering it just a good spell unless it fails to brighten up!

  7. The weather in Lincoln has been nice up until today. It rained through the night and it's still damp today but we needed the rain really. The Man Bites Dog today is an interesting one. Wishing you a very happy woyww with hugs, Angela x8x

  10. This is for all deskers regarding the Refrigerator/freezer (R/F) debacle so I don't have to answer questions about it. Friend Sally is a member of our neighborhood (NH) online group and checked to see what available in our NH. She found a guy selling a R/F who lived about five blocks from me. I walked over and, even though I wanted a French Door R/F with a bottom freezer, I decided to buy this used R/F the NH man promised to deliver to my home right away. I spent all of Wednesday evening and Thursday getting the food out of the old R/F and into the new one. The used fridge looks very much like my old one. In fact, they are the same size and design. The man guaranteed the R/F for 90 days, so I couldn't beat that. Now I can take my time and buy the R/F I want and get it delivered in the time I want and not feel pressured or experience any lost food.

You draw and color and sketch beautifully. You have a real talent, Kyla. By now I'm sure you have your June page ready. LOVED the Man Bites Dog this time. Happy WOYWW from # 3.
