Woyww

Morning all, just a quick update from me (phew its SO hot here in the UK at the moment, hope you are all coping ok?).

On my desk (last night) i am making some cards as my stash has gotten low.

My 'Man Bites Dog' cards this week are 'missing tycoon snubs singer!'.

Thought I would share a quick update on the allotments too. Catching up with transplanting and starting to harvest strawberries, red currants, radish, onions, lettuce etc and broad beans will be ready soon-love fresh broadbeans so a little excited for that!

Nasturtiums are flowering (i eat the leaves, flowers and pickle the seed pods) and beans are starting to climb! Happy days.

  2. Hi Kyla, what are those long green stalks? It’s always nice to eat fresh produce, a lot of hard work goes into it. Happy WOYWW. Angela #11

  4. Sorry it is so hot there. If I didn't have air conditioning, I would die. I can take the cold, but not the heat.

Love your MBD this week, but really like what Mary Anne wrote.

I am REALLY in awe of your allotment. Your strawberries look SO good and you are already getting a great deal of food from this beautiful and well kept garden plot. Happy WOYWW from # 2.

  8. Good morning, Kyla!
Great garden! I'd not heard of pickling the Nasturtiums pods. Interesting.
I think the summer heat finally found us here in the US, though for now, the mornings are still cool.
