WOYWW

Busy day today so this is scheduled from last night otherwise it will be late before I can post this.

It's time for the weekly cry of "Wednesday...already!!!" from across the globe as we have a legal snoop at desks..some clean...others are not (guess which category mine comes in to!!).

So on my desk this week are some flyers from the Spike Island open day hubby and I went to on Saturday.  Spike Island is an art co operative in Bristol.  A mahoosive building with 3 floors of art studios not normally open to the public...but once a year they do...and boy was it buzzing.
There is a bar, tours, sculpture, paintings, video installations......lots to see and do all for free!

My "Man Bites Dog" cards this week..."Crooked Hubby Tricks Missing Beauty Teen"....now that really is odd as the news has just broken about those missing girls in America that escaped after over 10 years being held captive!!!

If you fancy having a nose at desks...then pop over to the lovely Julias WOYWW blog...go on, you know you want to!!

Happy crafting

Kyla

  1. Fab cards and I agree what a strange story ... some very evil people in the world. The art co-op sounds like a wonderful place to visit.

  13. G'day Kyla
I usually don't get around for WOYWW till Friday as when Julia posts the link I am at work in the evening here in Oz. My day off isn't till Friday then but I'm home sick all this week so here I am just one day late(I couldn't type yesterday due to sore hands and why I am home!!). Oh wow Spike Island sounds like something I would def love to see too...maybe one yr *sigh*. OMG your words on the cards gave me goose bumps. My heart goes out to those poor young girls too in the USA.
    hugs

  16. What a great way to spend a day. Paducah KY has an art weekend where studio doors are flung open - kind of like WOYWW for an entire weekend LOL Aside from housing the National Quilt Museum, Paducah is a very artsy community. I love to walk the streets of old-towne though it's a three-hour drive one way. Creative Blessings! Kelly #103
