Another Wednesday....I am not sure if this is an age thing....but I am sure that the weeks didn't whoosh past this fast as a child! So this week I have been making yoyo brooches, it wasn't until I looked at my very small basket of them that I realised they were nearly all the same colour family, so I thought I'd better make some Christmassy ones...and what could be more festive than black and white skulls with a red accent?!!
If you fancy a legal nose around desks across the globe pop over to Julia's blog (blinkie on the right).
Happy crafting

Oooh your yoyos look lovely mine always seem to come out a bit rubbish despite investing in a plastic template thing to make them too! Have fun and I hope you warm up soon! Thanks for sharing. Sunshine Girl – No 19
ReplyDeleteWow I've never heard of yoyo brooches. They look very interesting though! Susan x
ReplyDeleteYo Yo brooches - new to me but I love them. We had a slight frost this morning. Sorrel didn't want to go on the grass for her morning wee (she's a dog by the way, just in case you were wondering ha ha).

I couldn't get to your blog last week Kyla, kept being redirected via a biblical website...promise it wasn't a deliberate ignoring!
ReplyDeleteYour brooches are fun...love your idea of christmassy!!
I can't keep up with this year either...love those fabrics and the brooches look really great! Thanks for sharing a little of your life and desk! Sarah at 14
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of yoyo brooches either, but they do look rather cool! Nice colours. We always try and delay putting the heating on as late as possible because the oil is just soooo expensive these days - it's amazing what Ugg boots, thick jumpers and fingerless mittens can do, not to mention a kitty or 2 on your lap!!
