happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. only a quick update from me as playing catch up as the pay the bills job is a bit full on at the mo...but there is stuff on my desk

I am catching up with my 365 journal....and thanks for your lovely comments re trying to get my Christmas cards made last week it helped me realise that all was not lost and made 3!

they aren't particularly intricate and they are upcycled but that's 3 cards made so a good start. As to my man bites dog cards, ooh not too cheerful! hope you are all good and managing to get some crafting in. kyla

happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. Not been able to do much crafting since Christmas (i usually have made about 10-20 Christmas cards by the end of January to take the pressure off later in the year). However, I have managed to make some birthday cards (still got to mend the dining room curtain...that will have to be another week).

as to my 'my man bites dog' cards.. wow thats a headline....Suspect Convict Terror Angel!!! kyla

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. So, still not tackled mending the curtain , instead i chose to 'try' to sort out my Christmas card toppers/upcycling. For a few years now I have tried to make some Christmas cards before the end of January. My aim is usually 20 but some years it's less than 10. Either way, it means later in the year i have the safety net that at least i have a few handmade cards done!!

My 'man bites dog' cards for this weeks headline is 'Singer tells on First Lady'!!! ooh interesting, lol Hoping I can make a few cards later today so something off my list!! kyla

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday and the first one of 2025! I hope you had a good festive season. we were lucky to have a week off with bank holidays and leave so finally caught up on some crafting, not much as like many we both got a dreaded lurgy but I have done my 365 journal and bullet jourjournal all ready for January so i am having that as a win! at some point i need to get the sewing machine out and mend some curtains, no idea how so that will probably be next weeks job.

but then there are always jobs that need doing so i won't break a sweat over that, they still close just the lining all degraded and ripped (they are v. old). So, on your workdesk? kyla
