Woyww
Happy woyww. Well, this week has allotment stuff on the craft desk!
well, I am cleaning down my plant labels! I have some wooden ones but my older plastic ones get reused until they break. I find acetone (used to use it in crafting years ago to clean pen marks etc) works best, and cheap nail varnish remover does the job fine!
forgot my 'Man Bites Dog' cards this week but think there has been enough news around!
Hope you all have a crafty week

Good idea to keep the plastic plant labels going. Thanks for the tip re acetone for pen marks in my crafting.
ReplyDeleteHappy June to you.

I do that too, best to keep those plastic labels going as long as possible. You’re good cleaning them, I just write over the top of the faded lettering from last year, such a slob lol!!

We really should use labels. Sometimes Chris pulls a "weed" only to find a red onion at the bottom - he seemed to plant them in every available space one year and we still find the occasional one still surviving!
ReplyDeleteOn time? YES. Happy WOYWW!

Good job cleaning the plant labels! I always thought O would paint stones with appropriate pictures but it has already just stayed as an idea.

Great idea with the labels. You're so good at use and re-use and then recycle! Have a great week. Helen #3
ReplyDeleteGreat recycling there Kyla. Hope they last you a long time. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
ReplyDeleteGreat recycling, I don’t like throwing anything away, unfortunately my husband is the opposite. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12
ReplyDeleteGood to see you reusing the labels. I usually write on mine with pencil so they don't take much cleaning though it does sometimes disappear before it should. Happy woyww, hugs Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteI remember doing that when I had my garden...sadly no more, we don't have the sun for a gardenš¢ at this house. There's always that anticipation of what wonderful things you will be planting this year! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #16
ReplyDeleteHello Kyla, that's a great tip for removing ink from plant labels. I intend reusing mine as long as it's possible. I get what you are saying about the news ... it would make a change if there was some good news! Hope you are having a lovely weekend. Elizabeth x #15
