Woyww

morning fellow woywwers!! I still can't believe last week was the 16th anniversary of us all coming together once a week and sharing our desks! No crafting on my desk this week BUT I did receive the lovely PIF card from Lunch lady Jan, thank you, its lovely and will get blue tacked to my craft room wall.
to be honest, this time of year my allotment is where i spend most of my spare time.
this is the bottom of one of my plots, sweetpeas, broadbeans, radish, winter lettuce and now runner beans are all in. last year i created a small pond and the iris i planted has flowered, happy days. I still have my ATC to post to twiglet, just need your details and I will pop it in the post kyla

  2. Glad you liked the card! I’ve been busy in the veg plot this week too getting lots of seeds in, we had a bit of rain overnight but not enough really. The little iris is sweet, what a cheery colour!

  3. I like gardens that have flowers and veg mixed in beds. Off to Sizergh later and they do that in the gardens there. Enjoy your time growing things.

  4. I am so relieved that we got two more waterbutts last year as we still haven't had any rain but decided to plant the raised beds anyway. I suspect it will rain next week as it's schools half term! Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs Angela x10x

  5. Round here the forecast via Alexa says "rain" in 7 different ways, for the next week. Ah well, the gardens and allotments will love it. I should have asked LLJ for you address - clearly she has it. Oh well, next time. Fighting a bad back so brief today! Happy Year 17 start to WOYWW!

  6. We had a mere sprinkling up in Scotland. We have never had it this warm in Scotland. No doubt the rain will come soon enough. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13

  7. What a fabulous mini pond on your allotment Kyla. Trying to visit all tonight as I have workmen coming tomorrow to sort the rotten gatepost and rehang the gate. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

  10. Oh super super iris, mine flowered for the first time last year after being planted in 2021. Lots of healthy leaves this year but no flower stems as yet. One of my garden irises is actually flowering this year though, not seen that flower since I bought it a couple of years ago either. Hugs BJ#1

  12. Hello Kyla, It's a busy time in the allotment for you, just as it is in the garden for me. Happily, we've had rain at last! Silver isn't so happy but my daughter and I did a little happy rain dance when it finally arrived. Your plot looks very productive and I love the tiny pond and the iris. Hope you're having a great holiday weekend. Elizabeth x #12
