WOYWW

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. So, still not tackled mending the curtain , instead i chose to 'try' to sort out my Christmas card toppers/upcycling. For a few years now I have tried to make some Christmas cards before the end of January. My aim is usually 20 but some years it's less than 10. Either way, it means later in the year i have the safety net that at least i have a few handmade cards done!!
My 'man bites dog' cards for this weeks headline is 'Singer tells on First Lady'!!! ooh interesting, lol Hoping I can make a few cards later today so something off my list!! kyla

  1. Oh it would be funny if that singer was Kanye West….what stories could he tell and about whom? Jill Biden or Melania? I understand your desire to leave the curtains alone, my most hated sewing job of all! I always upcycle the handmade cards I get sent as well, it prolongs the joy for a bit longer xx

  2. Now that does sound like a possibility "Singer tells on First lady" will watch for this one. I am with you at making some cards now as I'm nearly always late when it gets close to Christmas and then in a mad rush to get them done. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x7x

  3. It is such a good idea to make a few Christmas cards while you still feel a little Christmassy and the Christmas crafts are still out. I have done the “fronts”, but not completed the rest yet. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13

  5. ooh good cards this week!! I used to do all my own home furnishing stuff but nowadays you can't get me to sew on a button - hate it!! I also do my cards early in the year and made a good starrt before Christmas. It's just the posting them out that drives me mad! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #11

  6. Very organised with your Christmas cards and a good idea too. I'm never sure how many I will make until time gets closer because as much as I love Christmas I don't enjoy making the cards for it. Good luck with your upcycling. - Happy WOYWW Michelle #15
