WOYWW

Happy 12th What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday anniversary!  I bet 12 years ago the lovely Queen of Desks Julia did NOT realise what she created!!  After stalking for a while I decided to start a blog and join in, that was about 10 years ago, and I am SO pleased I did, over the years I have made some fantastic friends virtually and also meeting up in the physical world, brilliant.

This is what I had on my desk in readiness, I have actually made some ATC's!!

Now, I admit I havent made loads, I only made 4 so I have one for the official swap and 3 others that I plan to send on, I'll be honest, the pay the bills job has been full on the past 12 months so not much personal time to craft but chuffed I made these in time!!  (small wins still totally count!).

So, raising a cuppa and a biccie to the lovely Julia our Queen, Jan our long standing deputy and in honour to our chief enabler and in memory to Shaz.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, its been an amazing 12 years and here is to many more.

  4. I love what Mary Anne said about the MBD IRL. I missed it on your desk, but I am thrilled to see you took time to create some ATCs. I was wondering about the little "animal" covering your tacky glue. Inquiring minds and all. Happy 12th Anniversary from # 10.

  8. well said, Kyla - we are all better for having this group to keep us together in good times and bad. I am starting to quite like the idea of retiring (or at least trying to reduce the number of days I work.... who knows if it will happen!) Have a great week. Happy anniversary WOYWW Helen #11

  9. Hi Kyla. Happy anniversary. 12 years is some achievement, isn't it! Who would have guessed we would still be going strong. Remember the days when there were around 100 each week - I never knew which people to visit there were so many of us. Glad you managed to make some ATCs - as you say - each small victory still counts!!! I just love that needle felted dog in your desk shot!
    Take care. God bless.

  11. You did better than I did on the ATC front. I only managed 2 - one for my PIF and one for Julia. Hope the pay the bills job is a little less full on soon. Stay safe and happy 12th anniversary WOYWW. Sarah #9

  16. Hi Kyla, sorry for the late visit. Happy 12th anniversary. I've been in exactly the same boat regarding work, and it has impacted my crafting mojo/time significantly. But ... I've managed bits now and then, and we have this lovely desk hop to keep us going too. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #20

  17. Aw, you say the nicest things.it’s only worked because of contributors like you, Pidge! What’s in the red polka dot case then? and what are the little notes about - just torn up pages or real little notes? Fascinating. At least I don’t have to ask what the powder is!!

  18. Happy WOYWW 12th ANNIVERSARY! and, sorry I'm late! Yes, I've been getting out the embossing stuff most of this week, its very good at covering up mistakes and making them look like you meant to have a big blob of ink in the middle of your ATC. I hane made quite a few, once I started I found it really hard to stop! So I expect to have spares! Have a great crafty week. Stay Safe. ((Lyn)) #5
