WOYWW

Morning peeps, only a quick one today as scheduled this last night as back to back meetings again.  On my desk this week i decided to attack my scrap box and make some cards. My 'man bites dog' cards this week are odd!!

Just a quick update also on my homemade produce, finally got round to filtering my elderberry brandy which has been steeping since October! Needless to say the old brandy bottles (i decanted them into prettier bottles) filled my recycling bin, goodness knows what they thought when the bins were collected Monday!!!

So, what's on your workdesk Wednesday?

Happy crafting

  1. I bet the recycling guys had a good laugh! Things always taste better out of a pretty bottle I reckon. Hope the meetings get through quickly topday!

  2. I'm sure the recycling men are used to it by now. I think there has been a lot of drinking at home during the Pandemic. I often think when we go through the supermarket what gorgeous bottles there are now, I want the bottles but not the alcohol inside sadly. Interesting Man bites Dog today too. Sending lots of woyww hugs, Angela x17x

  6. LOL! The Hubster did the same last week when he finally decided to put all his hoarded shochu (Japanese, apparently OK if you get gout, a gift from his Japanese client) bottles in the bin. They must think we are drunk all the time. Did you see I found my MBD cards in my tidy up? LOL!

being brief, with still sluggish internet

  7. Lovely idea for elderberry brandy. Elderberries are so good for you. Lovely bottles too. I bet they’re stained purple from the berries so if the dustbin people took any notice they’d be wondering what you were drinking.
Hope you got through your meetings ok
    Have a great week

  8. Ooh I would like a taste of that! I made some autumn cordial once, an old recipe not alcoholic, nobody liked it, not even me! Not that I am much of a drinker, I prefer a cup of tea! 🤣. Angela #10

  9. Maybe your MBD cards are a little the wrong way round. Have you seen Fleabag? The priest was a big hit! Good that you’re using scraps. I only use scraps for cards now, but have to say, it’s not actually helping much! Presumably you tasted the elderflower brandy? I imagine the bin men thinking that you must have had a giant headache!!

  10. I don't suppose the bin men are ever shocked by what they find in the rubbish, Kyla - they've probably seen it all, and then some! I love seeing your home-made produce. I bed that brandy tastes delicious. Not that I drink alcohol much at all these days - just for an occasional treat!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
