Only a short update today as trying to update via my phone! Not easy or something I would recommend!
My desk this week has my 365 journal which I am catching up on.
My 'man bites dog' cards this week are Devoted Hubby Burns Thug!
You can bare your desk in a Wednesday via the lovely Julia's blog (link over on the right).

Wedding Card
Just a quick update for a new card I have.
This is die I borrowed from a friend and I cut lots of black and cream pieces in one sitting to use when inspiration strikes.
The paper is actually a staple of mine, wallpaper. I find it robust and cuts nicely and of course it is free when you ask for a sample!
I added some ribbon, a resin heart at the top and a glass heart below.
Clean and simple (unusually for me).

Greeting cards
I just realised I have not posted some of the recent cards I made from a sheet of patterned paper. I love trying to make several cards from just one sheet, and I luckily had a few brads and toppers with identical colours to my paper! I couldn't believe my luck so I was able to make 3 cards in one sitting!
If only crafting was always that easy!! Sometimes I think my crafting mojo decides to take a holiday and then works part time!!

WOYWW
No desk this week. To be honest I have hardly been in the house, as soon as I finish work I have been in the garden trying to catch up on jobs.
Having Rheumatoid Arthritis means that the damp (be that hot and humid or cold and damp) plays my joints up. Often my hands, legs and ankles are in pain and I can only do jobs broken down into very small chunks with lots of rest time inbetween.
However, the first time in probably almost 5 years the UK has had a long period of dry weather so for the first time in many years I have had a few days on the trot when I am almost normal (albeit still with the chronic fatigue and lack of strength etc) so I am trying to catch up on some long overdue jobs that most people just crack on with.
This means I have been in the garden as soon as I get home from work.
I have loved every, albeit knackering, minute of it. I got lots of plants marked down in the local shops recently so have repotted them etc. My herb garden in the front (in this picture) is surrounded by a fence to stop the cats and my sage has taken over the plot! I have NO idea what I can do with this much sage, its about 4 foot by 3 foot deep just of sage!
So, I thought I would do my "Man Bites Dog" cards in the garden and this week they predict the headlines will be....."General Sues Singer"......mmmmm-interesting.
So, are you taking part in Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday? Go on, dare to bare!

Malta sketching
Another update on some of the crafting I did in Malta.
In Valletta there are some gardens called Upper Barrakka Gardens with a lift that takes you down to the harbour/waterfront. The gardens are lovely, trees, flowers and a fountain. Even better is a fantastic cafe, which is licensed so you can have a beer if you want (and cake!)
Whilst I was sat there I decided to do a small watercolour.
Only a really quick sketch and colour whilst I was sat having a coffee with my friend, Jon, who lives in Malta but a great way to help capture some memories.
Happy crafting
