Hello peeps...I'm back!  Did ya miss me?

Been absent for a wee bit, pay the bills job and a birthday trip to that there London meant that blogland and even crafting has taken a back seat for a short while.

So, on my desk this week:

A couple of cards I made and a new template I bought when in London (well, if you are doing the museums then you need to pop into Blade Rubber...its literally only 1 street away from the British Museum).

Also on my desk is a tub of Thermomix that the lovely Julia (if that is her real name!!!!!) the Queen of WOYWW sent me a few weeks back to play with.

I have been playing with it (and hope to do a proper play and blog the deets on here over the coming weeks) and made this face from one of my Buddha with the mouldable plastic.

So, I will keep this short and sweet and sign off.

Happy Crafting

  1. I haven't been to Blade Rubber for years, what fun! Karen #101

  2. The cards on your desk are so nice, love the butterflies. And the Thermomix sounds like fun to play with!

    Happy Woyww,

  5. Oh I used to love popping in to Blade when we lived in London, but it's been YEARS... Nice to see you back - I missed my Man Bites Dog fix, and seems like I still am (boo hoo) Do pop by to see my colouring the paste experiments - sorry about the misleading AI comment :) It really does give only the lightest of colouring.

    An early Happy WOYWW!

    1. Forgot the man bites dog cards! Whoops. Your paste experimentation got me mixing a batch up straight away!

  6. The template looks brilliant- love it. And the Buddha face- not thought of doing that! Have a great week, hugs Shaz #38 xx

  7. I see what looks like Tacky Glue on your desk! Home made upside down glue holders are the best!! Love the mask!

  8. Liking your mask. I have been trying to get to Blade Rubber for ages, but always run out of time (and being in London with a non-rubber type person!).

    1. I leave my man in a fab pub just one street away....I think of it as a man creche!

  9. Yup, I knew the Termofix would be better in your hands, and I was right! Glad you had a fab trip for your birthday, you were very restrained in Blade!

  10. OOOO Thermomix My new must have toy. WOW to you, love the face.
Shame on me for 14 years I lived in London and never been to Blade Runner. Now I live too far away.
    Nelle 71 xx

  11. Wow, I look forward to seeing the deets on that plastic. It's just like Julia to send something along to others. She's such a sweetie.

I'll have to put that Blade Rubber on my wish list if I ever get across the pond to your part of the world. Of course, I'll have to go to the British Museum, too.

Thanks for the Wednesday visit. I'm running late this week, but glad I stopped by to welcome you home. Happy belated WOYWW from #3.

  12. no sorry you are going to have to explain blade rubber ..forrget the thermomix.... blade rubber sounds more fun and not in a dodgy way either

    1. Janet, google it, its a fabulous rubber stamp shop. They have been making their own and selling others for SO many years. I remember going there in the 80s....worth a trip. X
