WOYWW

Hello peeps, how are you today?

Well, this week I have been recovering from my ankle operation and have been able to have a bit of a play with my Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 102 course.

All my tags are on the desk.  I have not been able to do them all (I think there were about 30 to do) as I don't own the products, but for several of them I have been able to try the technique with similar products (some of which have worked really well).

My "Man Bites Dog" cards this week are "Bored Lost Star Fall For Teen"....never watched the programme Lost, but the headline sure does work for me!

So, short and sweet as Julia likes it.  If you fancy a legal snoop at desks across the globe why don't you pop over to the lovely Julia's blog (link on the right).

Happy Crafting

  2. Fab tags I shall enjoy looking to see how and what you do with what you learned! Hope the recovery is going ok, and you are back on your feet soon. Lost is a fab series, I have the box set and want to go back and watch the whole thing again cos I was confused but enthralled the first time round!! Take care Zo xx 86

  3. Hope your ankle is recovering in leaps and bounds...the forced inactivity is definitely having a positive creative side effect...love your tags!!
Lucky you, living in Bath. We go there reasonably often (it's only 55 mins drive from us). It is one of my favourite places to have a moke around. We never do the main drag, we love finding the interesting back streets. I love architecture and there's a lot to see!
    Take care, keep crafting :-)

  4. Tags are looking good. I think I will be able to make about 25 out of the 30 eventually when I can find all the random supplies tucked away in the house somewhere. I won't get some of the products as I don't think I'll use them too often - like the sticky embossing stuff.

  5. Love the tags- great tpo try them out with similar products too. I don't have any of his Didtress Paints, I have so many bottles of acrylic, I can't justify buying them. I'll have to try some out. Go for it with the white embossing & inking, I'd love to see what you do with it. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #29 xx

  6. Your tags are lovely! Sorry to hear you have been not so well, but lovely to have forced crafty time isn't it? I was tempted by the course but someone posted on UKS to say you had to have taken the first one in order to be allowed to book the 2nd one! Not sure what I think about that so haven't done anything yet. When in doubt, ignore LOL!
No alternative MBD headline springs to mind this week. I did watch Lost (all of it) and that works for me.

    Happy WOYWW!

    1. Mary anne, yes you do need to do the first course, but I already had. I believe both courses are available for some time (but without the real time advice) and I thought they are good value for money (and as you know I am quite frugal!!)

  7. Those tags look brilliant Kyla. I didn't join the CC102 this time because I knew it would be nigh on impossible to keep up and I don't have all the goodies but I may just do so once pay day has arrived and things have settled again!
Hope your ankle is easing now.
    Hugs
