Woyww

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. Need to fess up, this isnt today's desk but a few days ago. I was making a card for my neices 8th birthday party this weekend so wanted to keep it quiet until she had seen it.

I wanted to make an astronomy style card as she loves the night sky and space.

This was the card i made. Alcohol inks and sprays with glass starts and a moon.  I had wanted to add some foiling but for the life of me i couldn't remember what to do!! I have rolls of thin foil but searched online and no joy!!

So what's on your workdesk?

  1. O WOW what a gorgeous card! I will have to remember this to make one for my son as he's into the night-sky too (he's a lot older, 31...) Big hug from the Netherlands, Marit #17

  3. What an amazing card for your niece. I am sure she will love the night sky you created. A great mixed media entry.

I have some foiling I was given. What I remember is you need a special glue and then add the foil, which you wipe away everything except the part that has the glue. I've never used mine, so have no idea if it works or not. Happy WOYWW from # 3.

  7. Hi Kyla! Great textures and colours in those backgrounds. Can't help you with the foiling question, but you could add some glue and gold leaf! I've been using some of that lately and always looks great! Have a lovely week! xx zsuzsa #22

  8. Hi Kyla, started off okay this morning then got distracted by the garden! You need some Tacky glue for the foiling you can get it on Amazon, Hobbycraft and Craft Stash too though I have used a hot glue gun too. Wishing you both a happy and creative woyww.Hugs, Angela x14x

  11. Totally determined to get round everyone's desks this week. I ended up with the first part of a root canal procedure yesterday and a blood test today, I'm a bit zonked out as a result...Adore your night skies, the colours are gorgeous. Bet the card went down well. Hugs BJ#1
