WOYWW

Happy hump day where we share our desks across the globe thanks to the Queen of desks the lovely Julia, full details can be found here. After everything going on in Ukraine and the feeling of helplessness (we are regular supporter of Medicine Sans Frontier and they have a page dedicated to how to help here ) I decided when I got home from work to shut off and craft.

So my desk photo is from last night. I needed to do my bullet journal and my 365 journal so I started spraying coloured waterbased sprays all over the pages and added a water spray to move the colour around the page, i will finish the pages off today ready to start filling in immediately.

The "Man Bites Dog" cards this week are  "Tourist Stabs Angry Exec!"  Well, remembering all the issues many people faced in the past 2 years getting refunds etc from cancelled/postponed holidays I can fully understand this headline!!

So, What's on Your Workdesk this Wednesday?

Kyla

  1. Just shutting off and crafting sounds perfect amongst the scary news from Ukraine. your 365 journal looks promisingly gorgeous already! Take care, stay safe. Helen #2

  2. Oh wow that watercolour spray background is so pretty! It would be lovely as a desktop wallpaper in digital form - beautiful, but wouldn't interfere with your vision of the info. MBD cards are very much on target, you're right - funny how that happens so often.
Wishing peace for WOYWW and every other day!

  3. The watercolour spray is very pretty..there’s a lot to be said for crafting in sad times, it helps us to focus on other things apart from the troubled news. I have to think of something positive or my head would explode!

  9. Good move Kyla, shutting off and crafting will do your erm, sanity, no end of good. Said to Jan on her blog yesterday that I took some stuff to a donation point and left feeling even more helpless, it’s beyond my words at the moment. The fairy lights make your desk look like a bar…or is that wishful thinking on my part?!!

  10. ....or it could be the other way round...Crafty space looks really busy, and the coloured colour wah look really interesting. I too, sometimes go mad with paint, but once dry...I scan to use as a 'flat' background that doesn't look flat...if you get my meaning! I definitely going to add fairy light to my clutter! It's bound to make it look a little better! Hoping you're having a very Happy late WOYWW!? Stay safe, ((Lyn)) 19#
