Happy hump day! That means sharing what's on our workdesks on a Wednesday.
This week its a short update, hopefully it works as its done on my phone. Only managed to do this once before but i have a day off, am knackered and really dont want to turn the computer on!
will know we were sadly victims of an arson attack last week on our allotment site so i have lost about 1/3 of the crops so i now have ynexpected space for planting autumn/winter crops so thought i better update the plans and lists!
My man bites dog cards this week are Singer Defends Suspect Tycoon-ooh that does sound interesting!!!
Fingers crossed this posting works!
So, what's on your workdesk this Wednesday?
Kyla
Morning Kyla. Oh bless you. No, I don't do Instagram, so hadn't heard about the arson. But OH!!! How horrid - all that hard work gone into this year's crops. I trust you will be able to rest and re-plan.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. Stay safe. God bless.

Sorry to hear that you lost so many of your crops to arson last year Kyla. Hope the new planting plan works well. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #8
ReplyDeleteI'm still cross on your behalf about the arson attack, it's such a moronic action. I hope you're having a quiet day today if you're shattered and doing nothing that isn't essential.

Like Jan says, I am so angry for you too! mindless morons! I suppose it was kids, but really.... anyway I hope you've had a good day planning for the way ahead. Take care.. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteWas very sad to hear about your arson attack - really what is the point? I really don't get mindless destruction. Still onwards and upwards, glad to see you're getting on with new planting plans. Happy WOYWW, hugs Cindy #12
ReplyDeleteOh Kyla, I'm so sorry to hear about the arson! What on earth goes through people's minds sometimes? I'm glad you are looking at it positively and taking the time to plan the next season. We're just about to work out what we can squeeze in for Autumn and Winter here too as we've only ever grown summer crops up until now. I'll be over to IG to give you a follow. Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #23
ReplyDeleteHi Kyla, yes, saw the posts, a$$holes! It does seem to be that allotments get targeted, I'd guess because usually they are fairly easy to enter.Stay safe, Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #16 X
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the arson attack. Really miss our allotment now that we have moved to Australia. Hard to get round the idea that we are now planting over wintering veggies.

Hi Kyla. I'm here on catch-up again! We've had a busy week with my mum and I'd had enough yesterday so I'm finishing off my visits today. Have a great week and a happy belated woyww, Angela x20x
ReplyDeleteSorry I’m late. Good to see you turning towards the future of the allotment, bet this has put you off any ideas of keeping a small shed there. Our small town allotments have experienced a month of theft, off silly, worthless stuff which says heaps about the perpetrators doesn’t it, can’t bear that they think its ok to burn and steal for fun. Argh. Be interesting to know what you’re planning for the spare spaces for winter growing.
ReplyDeleteKyla, that's absolutely appalling that someone should destroy your beautiful allotment crops!! How simply awful. It's not just the wanton destruction, it's the feeling of invasion and vulnerability too. I do hope that you are able to do some successful planting in the unwelcome available space, and that some good will come out of it. No hope of finding out who did it, I don't suppose. The police are pretty useless over things like this.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late visit. Time has escaped me this week!
Happy belated WOYWW,
