Hello just a quick update and apology.
I haven't been able to revisit any blogs or do many updates (this is via my phone again so fingers crossed it works!) when i finish work my body is screaming for some fresh air and non screen time so i am grateful for the allotment but i will try harder as i need to try and do some crafting, evening if its outside in the garden for an hr !
Anyway whingeing over, on my workdesk this Wednesday is a lovely card from Julia with some lovely words inside, it meant so much to receive it, thank you Julia

ReplyDeleteHi Kyla. Good to see you, even if you haven't had any time in your craft room - it's just good to know you are ok. A lovely card from Julia. She has a real gift for sending them at JUST the right time, doesn't she? Enjoy your allotment - that's every bit as creative!!

Time in the allotment is as good as time in the craft room All crafting projects. Have a good week and enjoy the sun time in your allotment. Ani
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card and so perfectly put. I hope things are on the up at the allotment now. I saw the photos on Facebook, really awful, especially when you are struggling with your joints and other health issues and it takes so much work. Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #14

Hi Kyla, sorry for the late visit. I sympathise with you. As soon as I have switched off my laptop in my overbearingly hot craft room, I grab a cold drink and head straight for the shady end of the garden. There is always a cool breeze rustling through the trees. Crafting, allotment - it's all creative! I received a lovely card from Julia yesterday too - so thoughtful and lovely. Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, hugs Heather xx #4
ReplyDeleteNo need to apologise Kyla. Al I'm fit for after work at the moment is a shower, PJs, a meal and vegging out in front of the TV followed by an early night. Lovely card from Julia. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7
ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t matter, nothing does in the grand scheme. Just stay well.
ReplyDeleteThe weather's too nice to be stuck indoors anyway, Kyla! How lovely to have an allotment to work in, and grow stuff. I've been too busy in the kitchen these past few days to spend much time outside, or in my studio, which has now reverted to being a dumping ground (what always happens when it's neglected!).
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

Gorgeous card from Julia. Enjoy your allotment. Sorry I am late visiting. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xx (#9)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit, Kyla. I don't find that knitting takes much patience, because I do it while sitting with my hubby watching TV. It's nice to have something to do with my hands while I'm sitting on my recliner, and I find the rhythm of knitting very relaxing and satisfying, and I adore working with colour! The cardigan was a bit of a trial, though, and involved more work than I expected, but it will be well worth it in the end. It's now drying after being washed, and I'm hoping it's going to fit me OK!!
