Hello peeps and happy "What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday"!
So, proof that I do NOT learn by my actions! After the past couple weeks deciding to tidy the craft room I have now decided to clear out a cupboard I use in the spare room to hide stash!!! So my desk today is the spare bed!!
If I EVER mutter I need a new notebook-NO I DO NOT!!!!
So, I know a few of these are for when I make Christmas presents as the past couple of years I have made fabric patchwork covers and given them as gifts BUT seriously I did NOT think I had amassed this many!! The two UPFEST ones (top left) are a gift from the amazing street art festival in Bristol when you donate money to them, a couple others were gifts-the rest-no excuse!!
My name is Kyla and I am addicted to notebooks!!
Kyla

ReplyDeleteThat is indeed an impressive collection of notebooks Kyla. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7
ReplyDeleteMorning Kyla. Of course, there could be worse addictions.... paper, inks, paints, fabric, yarn... to name just a few. But oh my. That sure is some collection!

Those notebooks match my collection of sketchbooks and paints. At least when I am gone I won't be around to hear the moaning and groaning when family members have to clean out my little studio. Stay safe and keep collecting.

Well, I thought I had too many books like that but nothing like you - you are right - you are an addict but at least you stood up and said it out loud to us all. Then again, you have plans for some of them. No need to call yourself an addict really. They are there for a purpose.
ReplyDeleteI am addicted to all sorts of crafting - I amaze myself when I look at what I have - must be a fortune in my room.
Stay safe and well
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
Ha ha Ha love it !! At least you now know you have some - always great to find long lost stash ( or the stuff you forgot about ).
ReplyDeleteTake care and keep safe Soojay#19
Oh I can't resist them either - if I see any that I think are a good price I always pick them up muttering, I could do something with that and make a present. Sadly doesn't ever get done so I have quite a hoard too. Doesn't help for some reason people gift me notebooks as well - I got 4 last Christmas alone. The struggle is real! Stay safe, stay well, Happy WOYWW Cindy #12
ReplyDeleteHi Kyla, I have a bad habit of buying notebooks, lol, with the intention- one day- of trying of art journaling. At least thats the excuse I tell myself. Great selection you have there. Have a good week, Stay safe, Love & hugs, Shaz #8 X
ReplyDeleteHa, you and Julia both with the notebook addiction! Well, at least you found them and now know that you're well fixed with writing paper for the foreseeable future, lol!
ReplyDeleteHugs LLJ 5 xx
OH you hit home here . I just cleared out 2 drawers of adult coloring books, so many journals, blank day calendars in my crafty space. I am addicted to buying them and I use them as gifts. Some of the more detailed I decided to use in my master boards. How does this happen. Anyway the drawers are now full from clearing of 3 desks and I have space to spread out and work. I think my HOBBY is moving stash Then once I move it I won't find it when I want it. Stay Safe and enjoy what you love. #23
ReplyDeleteThis makes me happy because I had no idea how many notebooks and journals I have until I started moving stuff into the new cabin, what happens to us? My hubby says we're all obsessed and he may be right. Take care and have a crafty woyww, Angela x17x
