Hello peeps, back on my desk this week and playing catch up trying to finish my August page for the 365 Journal challenge. I worked out the other day that this notebook has enough pages for 3 years of this monthly challenge so in December I will be able to see 3 years of daily updates in one book, it is quite interesting to look back and see what I did on the same day across those years!
My "Man Bites Dog" cards this week are 'Blind psychic Dog Bites Mayor'!!!
So, What's on Your Workdesk this Wednesday?
Kyla
Morning Kyla. Liking the look of the August pages. As you say it must be interesting to read back over the previous years entries... mine would be very similar I think! Helen #4
ReplyDeleteI do admire you for keeping the journaling going, it will be fascinating to read back when completed. I have never been a diary keeper and am useless at sticking to things, I wing my way through life!!

Hi Kyla, laughing at the cards! The journal will indeed be a very interesting thing to look back over those 3 years. Stay safe, Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X
ReplyDeleteMy word, Kyla, three years' worth of journaling! You are so faithful keeping up with it all. Your cards made me laugh, and I could think of at least one mayor that I wouldn't shed any tears over if he got bitten by a blind psychic dog lol lol!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog last week, and I apologise for not coming back to you before the launch of this week's WOYWW. I wanted to complete my second tiny carpet but didn't succeed in the end. Ah well. I was very interested in your suggestion for a light steam on the back to fluff up the threads - that it certainly worth trying. I have noticed that some of my threads are better at filling the gaps than others, too. Anyway, thank you very much for the tip. Glad to come across another vegan who enjoys her flax seed! Since going vegan, have you noticed any improvement in your RA? I don't know whether you are standard vegan or whole-food plant-based but certainly the latter is brilliant for any inflammatory or auto-immune conditions. I've got the hospital shenanigans sorted out now - I had a reply from the physio and she told me just to send my original bladder diary, and we've got another phone appointment set for tomorrow to discuss things. It was the usual one size fits all, as you say.
Happy WOYWW for this week and belatedly for last week!

ReplyDeleteHi Kyla. Sorry I'm late - the day has been rather full of paint and phonecalls!! Those pages look great - I can't imagine being able to look back over three years and see what I was doing on each day... Wow!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

You are very good keeping the journal up to date. I remember years ago starting a diary but I think it lasted a week and that was it. Interesting Man Bites dog too. Have a lovely crafty woyww, Angela x14x
ReplyDeleteI do like the colours of the August journal pages Kyla. I bet this year will look a lot different to the two previous ones! Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #10
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many variations you can actually get out of those cards - they're always a bit of a hoot!
ReplyDeleteArt Journalling.... not sure how I've never managed to get into that. Too many hobbies, too little time, methinks!
Like you I journal. Some days I write loads and some days just a line or two. In the book I’m using I’m just writing not sticking things in this time.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time in all the years I’ve journaled that I’ve looked back at what I’ve written. It’s funny the effect life is having on us at the moment.
I’m catching up on last week.
