Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. Not a lot done as last week we had my birthday and valentines day but i thought i would share the card i made hubby and the one he bought me (as i think it will ring true with a few of us!!).
Hubby plays bass in a punk band so music is key for him.....and i think his card to me could imply either of us to be honest!!
Man bites dog cards this week are a bit more relaxed so happy with that!
on the back of the desk is a small figure in a boat.....these miniatures were my dads, and many years ago when he died i took them and have in the past used them to create joke photos and images.
with all the rain i was thinking the guy in the boat on a puddle would be good, but he snapped, so have glued him back in.
this is a photo I took a few years ago with a pot hole!!
I am tempted to start using them again!

I love your cards and they resonate with us too. There have been lots of little gnomes in hard hats on Facebook lately, doing winter Olympic sports in potholes. Your Dad’s reminds me of them.

ReplyDeleteAha, yep, the card resonates, I wonder if there’s another that helps each partner differentiate between his and hers kind of crap!! Love the little figures collection, what a great story. As for potholes, talk about pick a road, pick any road…
ReplyDeleteHappy belated, and your card is stunning. Yep, crap-goblin here too. The little figures are adorable. I just saw an image that had a pothole, filled with water, and gnomes doing curling (little brooms as all) in it so clearly a time-honored tradition to shame the Councils across the UK for how badly they do at keeping the roads smooth, despite raising the tax all ther time :D Happy pre-Skating Comp WOYWW!

Happy belated birthday. When your little guys have finished filling that pot hole you can send them over to us it's getting crazy here. Luckily I have big tyres on my old girl, can't imagine how people manage with those Low Profile things. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x9x
