Woyww

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday, my first one of 2026. So, on my desk, it's a mess, but i started sorting out some stash. Over the years I have tried most crafts buy my hands aren't as good as they were (Rheumatoid arthritis and raynauds doesn't help) so I thought I would start sorting stuff out. On my desk are my latest items I have bagged up, broken jewellery pieces, air dried clay pieces, glass, sequins, a lot of small bells (don't ask), mini pine cones etc! no idea what to do with them, probably take them to a charity shop as postage is expensive. Man Bites Dog cards this week are odd...Bored Singer Sues Lost Dog!!
I also sorted out acrylic paints and luckily a school mates dad would like them so that's good and then sorted out my needle felting kits and fleeces too. Another school mate is interested so happy days!
once i have finished sorting out i will put a photo on Facebook in case anyone local can find a use for them, but it's a bit eclectic so I am not holding out much hope. still, slowly creating some room so that's a positive kyla

  1. I think it’s brilliant to have a really good shake down of your stash and even better that you have folks to pass them onto, or indeed charity shops. You can just breathe better in a clearer space, works for me anyway!
    Happy New Year!

  2. H mentioned that she doesn't know anyone who sorts, rearranges and culls as often as I do and when I see others de-stashing and organizing I get the bug. So silly but I cannot help myself. I'm just too suggestible. I shipped a massive box to Debbie Rock, when she was still with us, and she made far better use of all that stash than I ever could. Hope your friends can make use of your stash. Happy WOYWW!

  5. I was sorting stuff but now it has to wait but will get back to it as my cousin is the commisioner for the girl guides in Retford and she is more than happy to take anything I don't use anymore so makes me feel better that the stuff will be used. I bet there are lots of groups like that who would love the stuff. Happy woyww with hugs Angela x7x
