Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. Not a lot done as last week we had my birthday and valentines day but i thought i would share the card i made hubby and the one he bought me (as i think it will ring true with a few of us!!).

Hubby plays bass in a punk band so music is key for him.....and i think his card to me could imply either of us to be honest!! Man bites dog cards this week are a bit more relaxed so happy with that! on the back of the desk is a small figure in a boat.....these miniatures were my dads, and many years ago when he died i took them and have in the past used them to create joke photos and images.

with all the rain i was thinking the guy in the boat on a puddle would be good, but he snapped, so have glued him back in. this is a photo I took a few years ago with a pot hole!!

I am tempted to start using them again! kyla ps wasn't sure if the image was clear as posted this last night so took another just in case

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. Not a lot on my desk as been a rubbish week health wise, but could be worse.

Empty desk apart from the back exercises on the right hand side the physio gave me last week after pulling my back. Man Bites Dog card....ooh wonder why they were angry? kyla

What's on your workdesk Wednesday already?? A quick apology as wasn't able to do all the returns as not been well the past week, first did my back in then caught a cold and my raynauds has been playing up so hands and feet are a bit rubbish, it will improve, just one of those things. So on my desk this week, haven't done anything but thought I best catch up and get February journals ready!

getting my bullet journal and my 365 journal ready before too far into February. Also, with all the terrible headlines across the globe i decided to do my 'man bites dog' cards....' Tough Secret Actor Revealed''....considering the film awards that havw been taking place i couldn't believe that I randomly picked them!! happy woyww kyla

been busy this week at work but did manage to start the page ready for my February 365 journal page, i am using up old inks hence the colours. I need to punch out the squares and glue them to the page and do a few decorations but that can be done during the month so not worried no Man Bites Dog cards this week as think the current headlines are bad enough at the moment. stay safe kyla

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. I still haven't made any christmas cards yet (I usually try to make about a dozen before end of January) but I have been having small sort outs and at the moment i have been sorting out my paints.

and have been testing the paints I plan on keeping, as several had totally dried out!! forgot my man bites dog cards this week but to be honest, with the current headlines i dont think we need them today!! kyla

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. slightly different desk as its actually my sofa not desk! Hubby lost a button on his decent winter coat so I thought I would sew a replacement....only to find the edging to all the button holes ripped and both the armpits in the lining too!!!

I had no idea how to sew these properly as never mended arm holes but gave it a go! this was in the evening and it took over 2 hrs!! 'mare, but saved money, a coat and I taught myself what to do, so productive and saved hubbys expensive posh winter coat (admittedly bought many years ago from a charity shop!!).

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday, my first one of 2026. So, on my desk, it's a mess, but i started sorting out some stash. Over the years I have tried most crafts buy my hands aren't as good as they were (Rheumatoid arthritis and raynauds doesn't help) so I thought I would start sorting stuff out. On my desk are my latest items I have bagged up, broken jewellery pieces, air dried clay pieces, glass, sequins, a lot of small bells (don't ask), mini pine cones etc! no idea what to do with them, probably take them to a charity shop as postage is expensive. Man Bites Dog cards this week are odd...Bored Singer Sues Lost Dog!!

I also sorted out acrylic paints and luckily a school mates dad would like them so that's good and then sorted out my needle felting kits and fleeces too. Another school mate is interested so happy days!

once i have finished sorting out i will put a photo on Facebook in case anyone local can find a use for them, but it's a bit eclectic so I am not holding out much hope. still, slowly creating some room so that's a positive kyla
