Woyww

Morning, I have stuff on my desk!after a few days away and limited phone signal I wasn't able to post last week. But i sorting some goodies out on my desk. Now, i didn't make these cards but I bought them on one of the art trails I have been doing. The lady was making them and selling them to raise money for a street homeless local charity, i thought they were lovely so bought a few.
I have been making stuff but mainly in the kitchen. this week it's dehydrated apples as its been a bumper harvest.
there have been so many apples on my walks I thought this would be a good way to store them. I have a few apples wrapped in a box but these should last a lot longer. So, what's on your workdesk? kyla

  1. It has been a crazy year for fruit/nuts hasn’t it? A friend’s walnut tree has yielded 24 crates of walnuts! It’s definitely a Mast Year when everything goes bonkers but the old wives tale says it’s followed by a hard winter, oo-er!

  5. Great cards, can see why you got them. There seems to have been bumper fruits hauls this year and so many conkers on the trees at Kew (and everywhere) happy woyww Helen #3 ignore first link !

  6. Great card collection, love them. Good way to store the apples too, we nearly always end up wasting some. Just finished my grapes today, never had them ripe like this before. Apparently the reason there are so many conkers and acorns is because the trees panic at the loss of water and grow more seeds and fruit to produce new trees if the worst happens but often release their leaves. 8. Apples and plums this year, the, plums were amazing, the apples a little tart but we've got loads in the freezer so it'll be fun to eat them through the winter. The trees were horribly scorched by the workshop for so it'll be interesting if they come back, I really really hope so. Nice cards from the maker lady, win win really, hand made and for charity, why wouldn't you buy em.
