Wednesday can only mean one thing-showing our desks across the globe.
I haven't had much time recently but on my desk (hidden underneath my travel journal kit and crop a dile) are my ATC's for the WOYWW anniversary swap. To make my life a little easier I have decided NOT to make many this year and am only doing 6.
They are not finished but at least I have made a start!
My crop a dile is being used to made holes in my belt. Over the past 18 months I have lost quite a lot of weight and this is a decent belt so I thought I would add some holes rather than buy a new one. Also my trusty travel journal is out as I often take it with my on my daily walks to sketch or even just to capture pattern I spot along the walk.
My 'Man Bites Dog' cards are "Crazy General Lost Thousands Blames Drugs".
Happy crafting
Kyla
I love my crop a dile for making holes in belts! I do it on handbag shoulder straps too. Love the sneak peak at your atcs. I've finally started too, but only 2! Helen #?

ReplyDeleteOOOH I wish I had a belt that needed taking in!!Sigh!!I HAVE lost 4 kilos since Xmas...slow, but steady!Love that you're taking your book to journal and sketch in.We can miss so much just blundering along.I know I do. Taking a book makes me look much more attentively. There's always something interesting going on .

I should borrow a crop-a-dile to do Mr LLJ's belt as he's lost a load of weight too! Maybe in a few months for me, eh?!
ReplyDeleteI made a few ATCs at Julia's yesterday, no thought process, just went for it!
Hugs, LLJ 2 xx

ReplyDeleteI do love a multi purpose tool and getting extra use out of something by fixing/altering it myself. You've done fantastically well with your weight loss and I hope you feel very proud x

The Crop-a-dile is a wonderful tool which I have had for a long time and it is practical not just for crafting! You hiding the ATCs? I showed mine - maybe I shouldn't have!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your weight loss. What a great use for your crop-a-dile. I'd never thought of using it for that. Good idea to keep your travel journal close. You see such wonderful things on walks. I document them with my camera. I just have to get around to printing off the photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

ReplyDeleteWell done for losing weight! Yes, I have a Cropodile as well but it did not come is such a nice box. Mine stands upright in the book case where I can pick it up as and when. We use it for all sorts of things, including holes in belts. It is a handy tool indeed.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,
Lisca

Great job on losing weight. I'm working on that now, but not having a lot of luck. Great peak at your ATCs. Happy Wednesday, LisaDV 41
ReplyDeleteWish I could put holes at that end of my belt - I need them going the other way!! Your desk looks so lovely and busy. Have a great week xx
ReplyDeleteHi Kyla, thanks for the visit to mine. I'm still on catch-up this week. I have often wondered what those cards are for, "Man Bites Dog" not sure what you do with them. Have a great week and belated WOYWW, Angela 23
ReplyDeleteThey are a card game. You can buy them in toy shops but I bought mine in a charity shop. No idea how you play the game as mine weren't boxed so I just randomly draw cards to see what they make.
