Woyww

Wednesday again, wasnt sure i would be able to take part today, have day off but last minute change of plans. Today is the 10th anniversary of my dads death so, as someone who was always crafting, painting and making 'stuff' it seemed fitting to do some crafting.

Am upcycling some images into cards at the moment and shoved at the back of my desk is my watercolour sketchbook i am doing the free course online with 'Emilys Notebook' (worth checking out her website as lots of good tutorials). Forgot my 'man bites dog' cards this week! Think there are probably enough headlines going round at the moment to be honest!
So, what's on your workdesk?

  1. Sorry for today being a sad day for you. Weirdly, it is my wedding anniversary (38th), my best mate's birthday, and also the anniversary of another good friend's husband's death. Such a strange happenstance, all the links to people I know, good and bad. Enjoy your crafting, and the only headline I want to see is "Cheeto Man Gets Jail-time!" LOL! Have the best day you can, hopefully full of warm memories.
    Happy WOYWW, with cat!

  3. You’re right , it’s a thoroughly good way to mark such an anniversary, some contemplation and something that produces a result, am in no doubt that your Dad would like that very much! Don’t need MBD cards when Trump is back in the news, huh..talk about every likely scenario!

  6. I think a crafting day is the best thing to celebrate your dad’s life especially if he was a maker of things as well xx. Hope you’ve had fun amidst the sadness.

  7. I understand how you feel as I lost my Dad to Covid but he was 91 when he died so I have to be grateful for the years he had and that I had with him. I know that there are lots of people who don't have that time with their parents. Take care and sending hugs, Angela x7x
