WOYWW

I need to start with an apology not had time to do my blog visits in the past week but work, allotment and heat got to me!

I am trying this update quickly on the new mobile blogger app, so fingers crossed, i will keep it short.

My desk is actually my kitchen as very early this morning (well been awake since 3am, again, why not) as i bottled my elderberry vinegar that i had steeping overnight before i started work. I do love it, elderberry is full of goodness and the sweetened vinegar lasts well over a year and can be used as a dressing, cooking and also a wee tot if your under the weather (meant to be immune boosting, either way, tastes nice!).

Either way, fingers crossed this update works!!

  1. Elderberries are full of good stuff so I understand why you've made your brew! I've been awake since the crack of sparrows too and am already looking forward to a siesta this afternoon, lol!

  3. Hi Kyla, thanks for Dougs card! I buy a product Fiona suggested a couple of years ago- Sambucol. It's made from Black Elderberry, and is meant to help build up your immune system, and mine needs all the help it can get!Stay safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #4 X

  6. Sounds fab Kyla, I must say elderberry is a favourite in this house. The heat really is playing havoc with my sleep pattern with an under active thyroid I only have to sit down and my eyes close, heat definitely has a reverse effect.
Take care, stay cool & Happy WoywW Tracey #3

  11. That sounds wonderful ~ I take Sambucol when I think I'm getting a cold and I really think it helps, so your
vinegar is a great idea. Enjoy your weekend
