Happy Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday. So, on my desk this week (well, photographed last night), no crafting but a bit of sorting. I was trying to find my Christmas papers and came across a folder I created with different tags and postcards I sketched at the time, often as part of the Art Abandonment community, and thought I should sort the out!

Inevitable happened, soon regretted trying to tidy as I got sidetracked and before I knew it most of the evening was over!! I never learn, lol. My Man Bites Dog cards this week are...odd to say the least - "Rare Bizarre Swinging Lady Model" - however, in Bristol at the weekend there was an auction of loads of items from the old Bristol Zoo site, of which there were many different advertising boards from many years ago and a varied selection of models and statues-so maybe it was one of them!! Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. Another week and believe it or not more mending! Having mended my allotment jeans last week now it's the turn of my gloves! yes I have several different pairs, mostly fingerless as I have raynauds so wear them a lot of the year...but....I am 'frugal'hence once again sewing them up ;-)

my "man bites dog' cards this week are 'convict lady weds lawyer lover!!' Well, considering a lot of the actual headlines at the moment, yep, believable! so, what's on your workdesk? kyla

Happy Whats on your workdesk wednesday, really sorry as wasnt able to do all my revists last week as time got away with me. On my desk this week are my allotment jeans as they SO need mending again!!! Jan may even spot that on the right hand side of my desk is the pin cushion that (I think) she made us for a WOYWW crop meet up many years ago!! I still use it.

My "Man Bites Dog" cards this week are...."Tough Blind Singer Stuns First"......ooh, not a singer but it did make me think of the amazing comedian Chris McCausland and his amazing Strictly Come Dancing every week, he is amazing, those lifts and keeping in time all whilst blind, wow. I need to finish these jeans (as the holes are TOO big and I think may be a bit risky now to wear!!) and then finish off Inktober, yep, I am late but am almost finished!! Happy Crafting kyla

Happy whats on your workdesk wednesday. On my desk this week is my 365 journal which I am trying to finish before I forget what I have done for the first few days of November! November?!!! I mean, HOW did that happen!!! Also on the right are some more chilli peppers I have picked and am drying out, I will thread them on the ever growing chilli ristras I am making with this years harvest. Only small as they are small dwarf chillies, but they will see me through the year and add some heat to my meals

Also, this was the finished wedding card I was making last week. I didnt go to the wedding, BUT, as luck would have it when I saw the photos her wedding dress was also bright red and in layers!! I couldnt believe my luck as it looked a little like the card too!!

Hope you are all good and getting some crafting in too. I need to catch up on my Inktobers as got about a weeks worth to finish and will post them when done too. happy WOYWW kyla
