Woyww

Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. This is my 'desk' most of the past week! Dry and the start of the sowing season so that means every spare moment is down the allotments!
this is my top plot (which i have had a few years now), under those covers are my purple sprouting broccoli and over wintering salads, mainly land cress and a few red lettuces. In the front of the photo are my broad beans and at the back onions, garlic, radishes, a few leeks and then my fruit beds (strawberries and currents mainly and 2 large rhubarb).
this is my 2nd plot, this is only my 3rd year on this plot so lots more work to be done but pretty much the same crops as my top plot but a lot more currants on this one and not as much rhubarb as the top plot. so, not a workdesk, but when not at work this is where I am spending a lot of my time at the moment! happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday kyla

  1. You’ve just reminded me, I must get my french and runner bean seeds in before we go away! Your plots are looking good, the ground is so dry though isn’t it?

  2. I hope your crops don’t suffer from the lack of rain. It must be quite a task to water 3 plots. Happy WOYWW Angela #11

  4. I've just got my raised beds sorted this week but not planted anything yet. We really could do with some rain. Your plots are looking good and very tidy. Look forward to seeing more of them as the aeason progresses. Have a good woyww, hugs Angela x10x

  9. Oh yes the garden is definitely another kind of workdesk!! My husband works wonders but I don't do much these days as I am too scared of aggravating my arthritic hands but someone has to supervise! It is really dry, so I can't even do a bit of weed pulling. Good luck with your allotments, it's hard work. See ya Wednesday!! Cindyxx
