Happy hump day! Yep, today thanks to the Queen of desks the lovely Julia here for running (nearly 11 years now!) "What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday" - several of us across the globe actually know it is Wednesday in these unusal days!!
On my desk this week is my 365 journal. After all these years I am still doing these, just a quick one liner of something that happened that day, I can fit a couple years in one book and they are really interesting to look back across.
Behind the journal is the lovely card Julia send me in the post, it was fab to get it and some lovely words inside too, hence pride of place on my desk (until my work gets spread back all over!)
My "Man Bites Dog" cards this week are 'Mayor Blames Angry Wife'-ooh will watch the news!
So, do you dare to bare your desk? Be it tidy, creative (aka messy), full of work or anything else? Full details are on Julia's blog linked above, we are across the globe and a friendly bunch
Happy crafting
Kyla
What a lovely card from Julia Kyla. I like the colours of your latest 365 journal. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5
ReplyDeleteMorning Kyla. Thanks for explaining how you fill in your 365 journal. I have never been abnle to imagine how anyone can keep up with them - so, just a one liner - that's do-able. Great fun to look back and see what you were doing this time last year - I was travelling Britain in my family's touring caravan! About to go from Cambridgeshire to Derbyshire... Oh, happy days... What were you doing this day last year?
ReplyDeleteA lovely card from Julia. She is just SO thoughtful, isn't she?
Take care of yourself. Stay safe. God bless.

Happy WOYWW. Gorgeous card from Julia. No wonder you are proudly displaying it. Great idea for the 365 journal. I did join in many years ago, but only made it through a few weeks. Perhaps I will do a digital version one day? Stay safe. Ali x #13
ReplyDeleteLovely card from Julia, she's a good lass xx. How marvellous that you're still journaling - I really do take my hat off to you because I don't think I could last a week! Hope you and Lee are doing ok.

I admire your zest for these 365 challenges I find things like this very stressful as it takes my mind off creating other things, you have real stamina Kyla well done & carry on creating. Lovely to see Julia's card, isn't she a wonder for us all. Take care & happy WoywW Tracey #6 xx
ReplyDeleteHaha we seem to post before or just after each other on a regular basis. Well done for taking up these challenges and pride of place on your desk is the best place for a lovely card from an even lovelier lady. Stay safe.

ReplyDeleteThat is such a commitment - I think I would worry there would be nothing of note to write, but great to look back on nevertheless. Good cards this week!! Happy WOYWW, stay safe, stay well, Cindy #18
ReplyDeleteHi Kyla, journal is looking fab, great that you can get more than one year in it. I know I'd never keep up with filling one in, I know what I'm like, lol. Have a lovely week, Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz #8 X

ReplyDeleteOh I was going to say something very similar to Shaz....I start out full of enthusiasm and it lasts about four days....I can’t even fill out a weeks eating plan at Slimming World...I just go off the boil and forget! Lovely colours for this month gal. I forgot to say that if you are going to take part in the UGO challenge for 572, please remember a before and after photo to post on the week!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kyla, if I was ever going to do a journal, I think your 365 one would suit me - just one sentence for the whole day. Maybe next year! Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #20
