WOYWW

So after last week off I am back into things and on my desk this time I have been tackling my scrap box.  Forcing myself to be inventive and make some cards from the scraps and now I am sorting them into A5 clear plastic folders (only £1 for a pack of them in poundland-bargain!).
I am favouring colour themes for the sorting (brown, pink/reds, blues) and in the middle is a folder of useful bits (technical term!) such as postcards, clothes labels, magazine...lots of different items that I have used in the past to create new cards from.

On the right (Big Bang Data leaflet) are my leaflets from London  (see previous post) to remind me what we saw as I back up my photos over the next few days.

My "Man Bites Dog" cards this week.....'Nurse Blames Wall St'.  All I can say to that is if the nurses joined in with the doctors regarding Jeremy Hunts so-called reforms then the papers would be having even more of a field day!

Happy What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday

  3. Ah yes those little scraps that get under our noses, I don't save them anymore, they drive me crazy. If I haven't used them in the next project then they are in the bin

  5. Yep, that would cause a frenzy in the media...and I wouldn't blame them if they did....
Meanwhile, your scrap box and my scrap box come out of the same thoughtwaves. It too ages to do mine, but it's largely still working. You wrung the best out of London didn't you!

  6. Useful bits, huh?! We understand...I bet each one of us has got a similar folder stashed away somewhere :-) I enjoyed your London posts, you found some really interesting, off the beaten track places....some of which I knew but many I didn't!

  7. Hi Kyla, I am always surprised when I go in Poundland at the amount of useful stuff there is. I must get round to sorting my scrap too as it keeps building up and not being used. Have a great day and happy woyww, Angela x 28

  12. I got some of those wallets from Poundland a while ago, very useful for attempting to keep the UFO's in order. Till you put them on a shelf and forget all about them. Then find them a year or so later. Just when I thought I was getting somewhere with the UFO's on my desk. Ah well, back to the drawing board. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #12 xx

  13. YAY! for Poundland :)
I also find that the best place to look for cheaper crafting items is in the childrens aisle - My local Range keeps running out of lollipop sticks in the kids craft section (thanks to me! lol)
    Have a wonderful Wednesday
