Woyww
Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. Apologies as I didn't make all of the desk returns last week, it was rather a hectic week, long hrs at the pay the bills job and then allotment every evening then bed early as this humidity and my Rheumatoid Arthritis is a difficult pairing! Will all sort itself out but must admit i am shattered.
My desk this week is a mess! Started the July 365 journal prep and then the carbon monoxide alarm broke so i bought a replacement and spent an evening fitting it. Sadly couldn't find one with the same screw spacing so that involved re drilling and trying to get the wall plugs etc out! Gave up and 'painted' them with my paint pens so they blend in!!! Happy with that, its working.
Forgot my 'Man bites dog' cards again the week but think there are enough headlines at the moment!

Well done on your DIY job! Do you get rituximab for your RA? I'm trying it for my NAM myositis, round two, but round one was not helpful really, so it's all wait and see. The heat and humidity suck for sure, but at least it's cooler today and a week of milder weather upcoming. Phew.

I bet the heat has really mucked up your RA, hope the Epps abate soon so you can get a bit of respite from it. I’m impressed with your DIY skills, am a total numpty with things like that!

It's so annoying when you need to replace something and you can't get the same thing again, it does my head in. It was cooler here earlier but the sun is coming out again. Wishing you a very happy woyww with hugs Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteGolly Kyla, I assumed the heat would be quite good for RA, although I've no idea why I assumed that. Hope you notice the change soon, although cooler by degrees here, it's still v warm and sunny today!a love the look of your desk, it eally says a lot about you!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are suffering, it is quite cool where we are at the moment, but it was dreadfully hot Monday. I would prefer something in between! That was clever blending with the paint pens. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13
ReplyDeleteSo sorry the heat is playing havoc with your RA, especially when you are so busy with work and the allotment. Hope things ease for you this week. Elizabeth x #15
