Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday. Another week and believe it or not more mending! Having mended my allotment jeans last week now it's the turn of my gloves! yes I have several different pairs, mostly fingerless as I have raynauds so wear them a lot of the year...but....I am 'frugal'hence once again sewing them up ;-)
my "man bites dog' cards this week are 'convict lady weds lawyer lover!!' Well, considering a lot of the actual headlines at the moment, yep, believable!

ReplyDeleteDid I ever mention my on has Raynauds too? Scary when his toes would go white. Do fingerless gloves help? Do you layer them? Curious. Stay warm - it's very cold here, but no snow...yet!

DeleteWell done for rescuing both jeans and gloves! Long may they last. The MBD cards could be a headline any day of the week really, I’ve stopped watching the news, it’s too depressing!

I wear fingerless gloves at Kew so I can still use the camera and phone but the tips get cold ! Have a good week. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteI had to smile at your frugal mention. There are certain things that I love to wear and continue to try and fix them up. Only today I realised my very old mini handbag has had it. It looked worn out years ago and I kept recovering the leather but then the zip went so I've used it when wal;king the dogs but it's time to give up on it sadly but there are others.
